Need something built?
I take on projects for a fixed price agreed before any work starts - from a small store page for a shop with no time for one, to the internal system a business needs and nobody offers at a price that makes sense. Small jobs are sometimes free. Either way, when it is done, it is yours.
Who you are dealing with
One person. An engineer with fifteen years across hardware and software, and more than ten of them on the business side - selling, buying, supporting and living with the kind of software companies run on. I know what these things cost to build, what they get sold for, and where the difference goes. That is most of why I do this: a lot of what businesses pay for is not hard, it is just gatekept.
Everything on this site was built the same way I will build yours - because I needed it, could not find it at a price and a quality I would accept, and decided to make it myself. The difference is that you get to describe the problem instead of having to live with it first.
What I take on
- Small and quick. A store page, a booking form, a landing site like this one, a script that turns a spreadsheet chore into a button. Often a few days. Sometimes free.
- Internal tools. The thing your team does in a shared spreadsheet and three chat threads: stock, jobs, tickets, approvals, dashboards over data you already have. Built to fit how you actually work.
- Self-hosted replacements. A hosted product you pay for monthly, replaced by something you run yourself and own outright. This is where the savings get large.
- Enterprise-shaped problems at a reasonable price. Integrations, reporting, monitoring, automation - the category where quotes start at numbers that assume nobody will ask why.
What I will not build
Anything that tracks people who did not ask to be tracked, sells their data, or is designed to trick them. Not for any price. If your project needs those things, I am the wrong person, and I would rather say it now.
